New Monastery's History, Breath of a Sunrise, 1481 DR
On Mirtul 28 1481 DR, around noon, a loud explosion was heard coming from the inner sanctum of the monastery. What followed was pandemonium. An enemy of unknown origin emerged from our most sacred place, accompanied by hordes of the undead. They rampaged through the monastery, heading for the exit, destroying anything that stood in their path. Most of our brothers perished during the attack, some, like me, simply fled. Of the few who were able to witness the aftermath, none remained after being confronted with the truth: Not only was the monastery in ruins, the Fourteenth Master had gotten mortally wounded, and the Fountain of Life stolen.

The attack was caused by the First Master, Myrtis, who came to take back the Fountain of Life, which Eldath had originally gifted to her.
