Description
The Glannin twins are Underdark natives who have come to the surface in search of power. They left their drow village after hearing news of the newly discovered |Blackstones. Eltra, the sorceress sister, immediately realized the destructive power the stones hold, and convinced her brother, Veltra, to seek them out on the surface.
The twins emerged from the Underdark and quickly made a name for themselves. While Eltra studied the few Blackstones she could get her hands on, Veltra built up a small but loyal group of bandits. From these bandits and the rumours they had heard, the twins discovered the alleged origin of the Blackstones: Castle Blackwater.
After having spent so much time under the sun, the twins have somewhat gotten used to the sunlight, but they still prefer raiding at night time or under rainclouds summoned by Eltra herself.
Appearance
The twins are Drow, and exceptionally rare specimens at that. While Eltra is a bit smaller than her brother, they are both exceptionally tall compared to their brethren. Veltra in particular, who had always been the strongest male in his village, has grown even more menacing during his time on the surface.
Past Life
Contrary to drow tradition, the twins always saw themselves as equals. Just like any other drow, they yearned for power, yet they wanted to obtain that power together, not as master and slave. Eltra especially, who only cared for the study of powerful magic, never had any interest in being a dominant female, and preferred to let her brother make the big decisions.
Powers
While Veltra has been honing his martial skills, Eltra has slowly begun do decipher the power of the |Blackstones. She has nowhere near the degree of control over them as Myrtis, but with each new sample she obtains she learns a little more. Most notably, she has discovered how to use them as fuel for spells, instead of just blowing them up, as most unknowing users do. This takes a heavy toll on her though, as she is still unable to fully contain their power.

Veltra
- Stoic, generally quiet. Proud of his strength, enjoys being challenged.
- Speaks in a deep, menacing voice, very slowly
Eltra
- Studious but cruel, enjoys hurting things. The ends justify the means.
- Distracted, monotone voice. Won’t look up from her book unless something draws her attention. Speaks like Azula.
